Ingredients

Scale

Potstickers

  • 12 oz frozen potstickers (pork, chicken, or veggie)

Vegetables

  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (red and yellow)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Sauce

  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vegetables. Gather all the vegetables and chop them into bite-sized pieces, ensuring the bell peppers, broccoli, and green onions are ready to cook.
  2. Sauté aromatics. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped green onions and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Cook the potstickers. Place the frozen potstickers in a single layer in the skillet. Cook without moving for 3-4 minutes until the bottom side is golden brown, then flip each potsticker to cook on the other side.
  4. Add vegetables. Toss in the sliced bell peppers and broccoli florets with the potstickers. Stir-fry the mixture for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Make and add the sauce. In a small bowl, combine the low-sodium soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch-water mixture. Pour this sauce over the stir-fry and toss to evenly coat all ingredients.
  6. Thicken the sauce. Continue cooking for another minute, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the potstickers and vegetables well. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can pan-fry the potstickers separately first then add to the stir-fry.
  • Adjust vegetables based on seasonality or preference; snap peas or carrots work well.
  • If you prefer a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes or a splash of chili oil.
  • This dish is great served with steamed rice or noodles for a full meal.
  • Use low-sodium soy sauce to control the salt content.
