A light and fluffy Easter Dessert Dip perfect for holiday gatherings, combining creamy cream cheese, whipped topping, and pastel-colored candies for a festive and delicious treat. Served with graham crackers, pretzels, fresh strawberries, and marshmallows for dipping.

Ingredients

Scale

Dip Base

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A few drops of pink food coloring
  • 1/4 cup marshmallow fluff (optional for extra sweetness)

Mix-ins & Garnish

  • 1/2 cup pastel-colored sprinkles or mini candies (like Easter M&M’s or mini eggs)

Dippers

  • Graham crackers, broken into squares
  • Crunchy pretzel sticks or twists
  • Fresh strawberries, washed and dried
  • Fluffy marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Whip the Base: Start with softened cream cheese in a large bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat it until super smooth and creamy, ensuring no lumps remain for the best texture.
  2. Sweeten It Up: Gradually add powdered sugar while mixing to prevent powder clouds. Stir in vanilla extract and, if using, gently fold in marshmallow fluff for extra sweetness and creaminess.
  3. Make It Fluffy: Carefully fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture with a spatula using gentle, sweeping motions to keep the airy texture intact.
  4. Add Festive Flair: Slowly add pink food coloring drop by drop until the dip turns a perfect Easter pink. Fold in half of the pastel-colored sprinkles or mini candies to add color and a little crunch.
  5. Chill & Garnish: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, then sprinkle the remaining candies on top for decoration. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and to firm up the dip for easier scooping.
  6. Serve: Present the dip with an array of dippers such as graham crackers, pretzel sticks, fresh strawberries, and fluffy marshmallows for a festive and fun Easter treat.

Notes

  • For best results, ensure cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps.
  • Use pastel-colored candies for a festive Easter look; mini chocolate eggs work beautifully.
  • Chilling the dip helps the flavors blend and firms it up for easier serving.
  • This dip can be made a few hours in advance and stored covered in the refrigerator.
  • Optional marshmallow fluff adds extra sweetness and fluffiness but can be omitted for a less sweet version.
