Instructions

  1. Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and butter. Allow the butter to melt completely to create a rich base for sautéing the vegetables.
  2. Sauté the Veggies: Add the cauliflower florets to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes until they begin to turn slightly golden and tender. Then add the sliced mushrooms and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms release their liquid and soften.
  3. Add Garlic & Seasonings: Stir in the minced garlic, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent the garlic from burning, until the mixture is fragrant and well combined.
  4. Finish & Serve: Drizzle the lemon juice over the vegetables, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve the skillet hot as a delicious side dish or light meal.
