This festive Spinach Artichoke Christmas Wreath is a delicious and eye-catching appetizer perfect for holiday gatherings. Made with crescent rolls filled with creamy TJ’s Frozen Spinach Artichoke Dip and shredded cheddar cheese, baked to golden perfection and served with a flavorful garlic butter dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Scale

Wreath

  • Two tubes of crescent rolls
  • 1 package TJ’s Frozen Spinach Artichoke Dip (about 10 oz)
  • 1 cup TJ’s unexpected cheddar, shredded

Dipping Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat the Dip: Warm the TJ’s Frozen Spinach Artichoke Dip according to package directions, then allow it to cool for a few minutes to prevent the crescent dough from getting soggy.
  2. Prepare Baking Sheet: Place a small bowl in the center of a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to serve as a guide for the wreath’s shape.
  3. Arrange Crescent Rolls: Lay out the crescent roll triangles in a concentric overlapping circle around the bowl, pushing pieces together firmly to create a solid base without gaps.
  4. Add Spinach Artichoke Dip: Spoon about 2/3 of the cooled spinach artichoke dip evenly over the inside of the crescent ring, leaving a bit of edge clear for folding.
  5. Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar evenly on top of the dip layer.
  6. Fold Crescent Points: Carefully fold the tips of the crescent triangles inward over the filling, tucking under the base ring to enclose the filling and form the wreath’s full shape. Repeat with all triangle tips.
  7. Bake: Bake the wreath in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Prepare Dipping Sauce: While baking, melt the butter and stir in garlic powder and dried parsley to create the garlic butter dipping sauce.
  9. Cool and Serve: Let the wreath cool for a few minutes after baking to allow the dip to set slightly, then serve warm with the garlic butter sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Ensure the spinach artichoke dip is cool before spreading to avoid soggy pastry.
  • Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and simplify cleanup.
  • Folding the crescent points carefully helps seal the filling inside the wreath.
  • Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
  • Can substitute cheddar with any preferred cheese like mozzarella or Monterey Jack.
