  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt (40g)

Vegetables and Proteins

  • 2 medium carrots, grated (115g)
  • 6 slices deli turkey meat (106g)
  • 1 cup spinach leaves (40g)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, shredded cheddar cheese, grated carrots, and plain yogurt. Mix thoroughly until a smooth and spreadable filling forms.
  2. Spread the Filling on Tortillas: Place half of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each whole grain tortilla. Using a knife, spread the filling evenly across the surface of the tortillas, leaving the outer edges clear to facilitate rolling.
  3. Add Spinach and Turkey: Evenly distribute ½ cup of fresh spinach leaves and 3 slices of deli turkey meat on top of the spread filling on each tortilla.
  4. Roll and Slice: Carefully roll each tortilla tightly from one edge to the other to encase the fillings. Once rolled, slice each tortilla roll into 6 equal pieces to create bite-sized roll-ups.
  5. Chill for Best Results (Optional): For firmer roll-ups that hold together well, wrap each rolled tortilla tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing and serving. This step helps the cream cheese to set but can be skipped if you prefer to serve immediately.
